That's a Barrett Jackson window sticker might be just presale hypeThat sticker clearly says "more than 475hp".
Nope, standard ford language right now. The Bullitt engine tune has not yet been fully determined-Ford is still testing a couple versions (or maybe the final version at this point) drivability, realiability (87 & 91 gas) as Ford''s internal standards used to call for 150k mile operation validation, im assuming that hasnt changed but just assuming. Next will be Smog certification and then SAE hp ratings (on 93 gas) will come out. That engine will not be locked in for a bit. They are also still building GT350s (post winter) and may wish to avoid too much publicity as to a modified GT engine right now. And lastly--more media/social media "news" (aka free publicity) when the final HP numbers are announced. That's a Barrett Jackson window sticker might be just presale hype
Also says "limited-edition 2019 Mustang Bullitt". Does that mean the Bullitt to the public will actually be limited, or is it just this particular car for some reason (some special feature or mod for the auction)? That sticker clearly says "more than 475hp".
Not that particular auction car. The auction car was just a stand in. The car sold hasnt been built yet and will simply be Vin 001 and just like every other fully optioned Bullitt.
Limited- it will be limited but Ford has not disclosed numbers. Both the 01 and 08/09s were limited and Ford produced and sold fewer units then the stated limitation. I do not believe they will repeat that mistake again and are keeping the limitation number close to the vest at this point in time.
Some dealers are already talking numbers and i quite don't believe them. Not that a dealer would ever lie or make crap up. Lol
So the BJ ‘Bullitt’ is not a genuine Bullitt at all - more or less nothing more than a stage prop... does it get crushed?
Are all of those other 2019 Bullitts parading around for photo shoots and national auto shows also fake (not real Bullitt VINs)?
Does anyone think the 2019 Bullitt will be limited to 1,968 copies? :ford:
