I'll bite on yer thread wood ..

For the best deal at present that I have been able to confirm is a stout block built by MAP .

How much are you spending on this block that you are having built by esslinger ?

Panda has a decent deal for full long blocks if you need it. But as far as short block MAP seems to be the best price.

Esslinger had a shortblock he was selling for $4200 that had CSS and I-Beams, looks like a good deal.

You peeps got this thread wrong. I started this for people that actually have installed a new block, not those who can find the best deal from some company. It's supposed to help people make an informed choice so they can be in touch with someone that has already done it. It's not for pimping a company. I know MAP makes a good block, same with Tune+, FFTEC and so on...wouldn't you like to know a member that already has it done so you can ask them if they are happy with it?

wsfrazier - that was my block, i was gonna go full sleeve, no one bought it so it's goin in the car

I've already shopped companies...

I'll let you know, I should be getting engine dyno data the end of this week. Trying to sell it during the build kicked me out of line. From what i've seen pic wise it should be fine...

Didn't know that was your block, was very temping to snag that cause im doing one over the winter.

I am curious if anyone on here is running a Panda or MAP block, and are happy with it. Seems everyone is on the Esslinger train lately.

I don't know - that's why I put up the thread... It would be nice to go to one thread to see what people are using.
