Bumper will just be clipped in without screws so they can get the swage line from the wheel arch right. Wouldn’t worry.

Looks a good repair though, yes it’s got filler in but I would rather that than cutting, grinding, welding and then filler on the joints anyway!

got to see the car yesterday and looks perfect - forgot to take pictures.
they've repainted it, including a blend up the A pillar and the passenger door / round the rear bumper.

Its been sent off to repolish the whole car and re-apply ceramic coating now!

Great to hear that the repairs are nearly completed and that you are pleased with the result.

I am sure that you will give the repairer a glowing review if you feel they deserve it.

well it wasn't technically the builder that hit it - it was the digger driver thats been on and off the project from the start. haven't seen him since ! think he's pretty gutted about it

Mine came with one of those from Ford ...

The first morning when it condensated you could see the outline left from some form of marker (I'm guessing one of those white ones).

Must have happened after build but before the shipping wrap (and mostly cleaned off before the wrap was applied).

Unless your car is written off it does not show up on a HPI check. Worked in a Ford Bodyshop for 20 years now as panel beater and Damage assessor. Some of the assumptions on this thread are hilarious

Fuel tank removed is for safety and will be in the manufacturers published repair methods, roof paint blend will be to avoid a large masking line down your roof gutter too.
People think it’s a doddle to repair cars lol

got it finally - here’s the damaged side!

now just have to fix the knocking noise and creaking side from the rear passenger (unrelated)

creak sway bar bushing needs grease.

rear drop links or maybe suspension binding if you've dropped springs but not whole dampers etc. shock will be binding on top mount.
