Build Week 3/30

Hate having everyone at mothers day asking where my car is. Very frustrated.

Hi BigEasyGT I understand you, it was the same for me!
What is very frustrated it's the way the keeping us in the dark. The have issues with transportation, they plan the build but they didn't planed the capacity for the delivry.

Iast week, I did an official complaint to the Customer Care Services,I will see when they will get back to be!

Initially my salesman told me it would take 12 weeks or so before my car would arrive. Submitted paperwork and he said it would be about 6 weeks. Hope to pick it up in a week.
Last month I took my current car a 135i in for a front brake job. They come standard with Brembos (just stamped BMW). That set me back $974 one of the many reasons I'm coming back to an American V-8.

Anyway while waiting on my car, my SA and I start talking about the new M-3/4s. He told me it takes (((7))) months to p/u a 3/4 after placing an order. Guess we all should just breathe because it could be a lot worse!!

I wish you to receive you Mustang as schedule, mine 3 days before the delivery, dates were gone and since no more new. In begining of March the dealer told me 6 weeks, now this website : http://www.arifleet.com/publications/lead_times_delays/#item1428
write 10 to 12 weeks, but Ford have no clue it's depend where you live and transportation available !

The last month was hard but my face lit up when I saw the update this morning. Good thing my work week usually flies by.

Car came in last night. All the paperwork is over. I just have to wait for the registration to go through to pick it up. For those whose cars haven't arrived yet, hang in there; the wait is worth it.

Congrats on the car! It looks great! I am very happy with my first 1000 miles!! ( I can't believe I have driven it that much!) You will soon forget all about the wait. :ford:

All the cars from this build week look really good. It looks like ford has gotten a handle on the fitment issues. My car is not perfect but nothing worth mentioning. One thing is for sure, you can't touch the quality or performance of these cars for under 40K. I was disappointed by the 13 week wait and a bird poo stain on the hood though. Once I got the car I forgot about the wait and Meguiar's scratch X20 took car of the stain.

I agree - i was really worried after reading all of the bad quality/fitment issues posted by earlier builds. My car is as good as can be expected with a mass produced, first year of production vehicle. But as soon as i jump in to go for a ride, everything else no longer matters......

You all going to love this story. My car has been pulled for the 2nd time. It was ordered on 2/28. It was originally suppose to have been here on the 6th of May but removed from in transit. Than turned over to a shipping company on the 4th. But this afternoon it was pulled again. I emailed my sales lady and told her I will cancel the car if I don't see it by the 23rd and demand my deposit back. After 6/1 it will be 13 weeks. How can that be when a friend ordered his on 3/31 and received it this pass weekend. What can I do.

Have you called Ford Customer Serivce? If you speak to the regional manager, they are able to find out some more details as to what's going on.

Just a quick update on mine... 600+ miles on it now. Mostly commuting which is actually pretty perfect for breaking it in. Sometimes I go 70. Sometimes I go 7. Usually it's somewhere in between!

Hitch is on. Roush exhaust is on. Taillights tinted. Windows tinted. Curb Alert is a work in progress. Emblems blacked out. Tunes loaded up. Home programmed into the GPS. And the puddle lights continue to amuse me. Going to get the Redline hood struts and the Ford strut tower brace next... eventually.

I will not use line lock. I will not use line lock. I will not use line lock. Maybe I'll just test it out. . . .

This car IS worth the wait. I kinda miss my 2011 MCA car but not enough to give up this one!

I ordered mine 1 22 15 just wait for it there probably focused on getting the cars that were delayed out before getting new orders out
