I love the 4 series but when you consider the cost of owning a BMW vs the cost of owning a Mustang, wait. I work with folks who drive Bimmers and they are nothing but money-sucking Kirby's. Great cars to drive but expensive as heck to maintain. I know, I know they have the free maintenance but there's probably a reason -- like getting you used to finding your way to their service department. For me, I want to wonder where the service and parts departments are. Plus I'm pretty sure you're not getting that 4-series for the same price as a Mustang when you start adding in their extended warranty/service plans either.Yeah true, it is expensive to maintain. But getting it new would be a different story, i guess. I am looking into the 435i. the coupe to 335i. (sorry, I know this is a mustang forum.)
I am still hoping that it will be here soon. Mustang is still first on my priority.![]()
I'm on day 3 with mine. I absolutely love it. My only issue right now is the seat belt seems to cut into my neck. Worried the car will slice my jugular vein/carotid artery in a crash! I took it out for a 40+ mile winding road drive on Sunday and just enjoyed everything. It's quiet. It handles great. The comfort vs sport steering was obvious. And oh-my-gosh is it quick.
Don't make an emotional decision because your car isn't here "yet". It will be.
