- '12 V6 Conv trading in for a '15 GT Conv
Here are some pictures. Also, I did take the return spring out on the clutch pedal as described here on the forum. For those with a manual tran I wonder who else did that. I drove about 15 or so miles with it city driving and it was weird not feeling the clutch engagement as with the spring from the factory the clutch pedal is super light. I followed the forum suggestion and took needle nose vice grips with tape on them and pushed the clutch pedal down, stuck the needle nose in and then squeezed it while releasing the pedal. The spring then slid right out. Now I can feel exactly where the clutch engages and it feels so well connected. This car really is badass.
I also have to say for all the complaining about COTUS it and the help of the ford service guys here was really great. The dealer had very little info about the car and honestly didn't care too much either. Without COTUS and the forum help from ford service I would have been completely in the dark. The mustang would probably still be at the dealer, or stolen (!), since when I saw it arrived on COTUS and drove over to the dealer and it was in a remote lot unlocked. The dealer was closed for good friday so I made sure to lock the door before I left. When I called the dealer saturday to pick it up they didn't even know when it arrived.
