Have you guys noticed at lights when a camaro, BMW, audi etc pulls up you get a nice look from the car over but they never really try to challenge you. It always comes from the complete wackos.
The guy with the toasted piston rings, fart-can exhaust tied to a 4 cylinder honda that is ready...
Received a PM for a picture of my magnetic GT with ceramic interior with the top down. Couldn't figure out how to add an attachment to the PM so here's the pics for all to view. Sorry a little overcast today. I've loved the interior and how much cooler it stays in the sun. Second mustang now...
Thanks. One last tip. When you go to take the spring out put down a bag or something below it. When it dropped out it was covered in lithium grease and I got a little on the mat I then had to scrub out. Otherwise it was just like the forum said. Try to grab two coils and that should be just...
I joined the no spring club as well. It lasted the 15 mile drive back from the dealer and was taken out. Now it drives like it should and feels just like the clutch in my 2012 I traded in.
Here are some pictures. Also, I did take the return spring out on the clutch pedal as described here on the forum. For those with a manual tran I wonder who else did that. I drove about 15 or so miles with it city driving and it was weird not feeling the clutch engagement as with the spring...
So after putting 50 miles on it so far I have to say it was so worth the wait to order the car I wanted. It's so much improved from the 2012 I traded in. The rid is awesome. The interior is so well planned out. It's an engineering wonder. I took the wife out to lunch and got a few thumbs up and...
Checked COTUS this AM and my car was delivered! The coffee almost came out my nose. The dealer is not open today for Good Friday, but I went and drove their receiving lot and found it. No alignment issues I could see and the car was unlocked so I even checked out the interior. Only saw one...
went to my dealer yesterday for the final appraisal and to get financing straightened out. COTUS had bumped my delivery back to 4/5 but the dealer called and got it moved up to Saturday. Before the appraisal I went to Carmax and got an appraisal from them. Almost $3K more than the dealer had...
If they are placing an order you will see the details on the DORA confirmation. You may have to wait a few days to see they made a mistake, but that is well before it is ever made.
That's a bit much but it is not that quick to do it yourself. There is such low clearance under the mustangs that even on jack stands its hard to get under there to the middle of the car and then reach into the center well to get to the fill plug location.
I can say I wouldn't use redline if you are in warmer climates. Both times when I used redline and it started to break down the notchiness was worst on hot days above 90F. Redline was great for a while but seemed to break down. BG synchroshift II has been great for me in NC. 40-110F, no...
Hey guys, when I test drove a '15 before ordering I was surprised by the lack of engagement feel and looked at the helper spring at the dealer the second time I went in for ordering my new mustang. In the dealer's lot I looked at my 2012 V6 which has great engagement feel and I think there is...
I'm in with you guys. Ordered Feb 7, in COTUS Feb 12, priority code 10.
2015 Mustang GT Premium Convertible in Magnetic w/ 19" wheel package, spoiler delete.
I'm trading in my 2012 V6 Premium convertible. First intended mod is to remove the clutch helper spring. It was weird driving the...
For what it is worth I will repost my experience I posted on another thread:
Thought I would offer my experience as a 3-year MT-82 owner with about 42,000 miles on my transmission. In the first 5K miles it was pretty notchy when cold. I switched to Redline MTL and a Barton bracket and it made...
Thought I would offer my experience as a 3-year MT-82 owner with about 42,000 miles on my transmission. In the first 5K miles it was pretty notchy when cold. I switched to Redline MTL and a Barton bracket and it made a big difference. The redline for smoothness when cold and the bracket to...
