Here are some pictures. Also, I did take the return spring out on the clutch pedal as described here on the forum. For those with a manual tran I wonder who else did that. I drove about 15 or so miles with it city driving and it was weird not feeling the clutch engagement as with the spring from the factory the clutch pedal is super light. I followed the forum suggestion and took needle nose vice grips with tape on them and pushed the clutch pedal down, stuck the needle nose in and then squeezed it while releasing the pedal. The spring then slid right out. Now I can feel exactly where the clutch engages and it feels so well connected. This car really is badass.

I also have to say for all the complaining about COTUS it and the help of the ford service guys here was really great. The dealer had very little info about the car and honestly didn't care too much either. Without COTUS and the forum help from ford service I would have been completely in the dark. The mustang would probably still be at the dealer, or stolen (!), since when I saw it arrived on COTUS and drove over to the dealer and it was in a remote lot unlocked. The dealer was closed for good friday so I made sure to lock the door before I left. When I called the dealer saturday to pick it up they didn't even know when it arrived.

Car looks sick my friend.. And I agree dealer is worthless nor do they seem to give a shit...I too am thankful for FordService on the forum or I'd have lost my mind by now. I'll be taking my spring out right after I install my oil seperator. Soon as I get the keys

Thanks. One last tip. When you go to take the spring out put down a bag or something below it. When it dropped out it was covered in lithium grease and I got a little on the mat I then had to scrub out. Otherwise it was just like the forum said. Try to grab two coils and that should be just perfect to get it to come right out. Took 3 minutes.

COTUS finally changed status to "delivered" last night, but the car still isn't in according to the dealer. Just annoyed on my end when it was suppose to have left the Twin Oaks rail yard for the dealer last Tuesday. Just venting.....:frusty:

This.

My '15 is the 8th manual transmission vehicle I've owned, and with that spring in place I thought the car was borderline undriveable. Almost impossible to start from a stop without looking like an amateur. Took that stupid spring out, and all is well.

i'm no different than the rest of you. My EDD is the the 15th but it is still awaiting shipment. There's no way this thing is getting here for the 15th. I'm hoping COTUS is wrong. Oh and yes my dealership is completely worthless also. No info or contact from them in a long time. They haven't even answered or replied to my emails and request from 14 days ago. My dealer is not selling the brand very well,.....

Well I just got back from the dealer, the car is good now. The "new" bumper fits well and they didn't damage anything in the swap process. Turned in the BMW today and going to pick up the keys tonight! :ford:

Haven't been on this thread for a bit since I've took delivery, been out enjoying this freakin awesome car! It's way better than I expected it to be honestly... It's got looks that stop people in their tracks, and all around performance that surpasses any mustang I've ever owned. This car is truly a home run! I just put my Sportline springs on today so I'm really anxious to hit some mountain roads and see what she can do!.....

I live in Alaska and I'll be shocked if I get my car before you guys do, but if I do, there is something definitely wrong.

Well Guys, It was delivered the other day and I picked it up last night. Didn't have the dealer detail it, so I washed, clay bared and sealed the car quick late last night. Here are some quick pictures. The one pictures has both of my cars, the green one is a 1969 Dodge Dart, 340 4 speed, I bought when I was 13 and was a father/son project.

Cheers! :ford:
