Build Week - 09/28/15

Hey all,
Just thought I'd start a thread to give people a place to talk about our orders. Currently my build date is September 28. I ordered on the 8th of September, so I think orders are starting to really roll. However, my Estimated Delivery Date is October 28th. Is this normal to have almost a month for it to ship? I thought the standard was 2-3 weeks. Anywho, I can't complain. They're almost here!

This is normal, SeanR. Once your order finishes production, it’ll wait to be released, be put out to await shipment, load onto a rail car (which must be full before leaving), travel with stops, arrive at the last rail yard, and wait on a truck to pick it up and delive it it to your dealer. All of these may take a few days to complete.

So the top of your window sticker says 29 September on the top (120150929)? Maybe 28 September really is my blend date and not just the whole week. Who knows. Not sure how I'd feel about it being made on a Monday though. Anybody heard of newly delivered 2016s being better in terms of panel alignments?

Yes, yours says 120150928 as your blend date, SeanR. This means your build date is 9/28/15.

Deysha responded to me a few minutes ago to let me know my car was entering the plant today, and Estimated delivery of 10/16! She said my window sticker should be live on Thursday. Weird my car would be in the plant before window sticker right lol?

Your vehicle is not built yet, CompO5.sl0w. The window sticker is usually up 5 days before your build date.

I'm confused by the blend date, does anyone really know what this means? I read that one guys was built before this date, and Deysha told me today my order was in the plant yesterday. So could mine be built before the blend? ETA 10/16. I must have really lucked out with my dealers allocation. Good thing it's coming since I've already got a Corsa Extreme, and a Roush CAI on the way. I don't have much room the be storing parts. Lol.

Deysha also said the build date (blend) will be at the top of the window sticker, 350Mike.

I ordered mine on 9/9/15. Received my VIN from the dealer last weekend with a build week of 9/28 and could pull up the sticker on Tuesday! I'll have to contact Deysha for some more info since COTUS doesn't seem to work for 2016 models? :shrug:

are you getting the EDD from Deysha, dealer or another source? My blend date is 9/28, EDD (from Deysha) is 10/29, seems long to deliver, but she did say it's subject to change. Hoping it arrives earlier (obviously!) Just don't want to bug her too much. Plan on taking a couple days off when it arrives.
