Has the seatbelt issue been confirmed? I feel like it might be something else if they were held at the plant for that long.

Mine was shipped to the railyard 30 minutes from my house, it's on hold there.

Can you confirm its a backward seatbelt. Wouldn't that be something they would pay a dealer to fix? Maybe they're being held for an inspection for a possible problem, but there isn't one(fingers crossed)

Same story here. Mine has been at the rail yard about 40 miles away since last week. No ETA to the dealership.

Mine seems to be held at the same yard as Oxford6g's. I can't get any info from my dealer. They did pull the service bulletin or notice report on my VIN and nothing was on there.

My dealer said that as soon as they realize there is a safety issue they put a hold on all the cars wherever they are until the necessary parts are acquired. Seat belts, if that's what it is (he hasn't confirmed it yet), are considered a safety issue so it would require a hold. If the problem were something else (like windshield motor), the cars would continue on to their destinations for the dealer to deliver and fix.

I'm confused on where the cars will go from here though and he hasn't gotten back to me with any other info yet.

Mine is in Mesquite with the Texans which is three hours away from me. Called the dealer, and they said they didn't see it being on hold in their system. In fact, they still think it's gonna be delivered "any day now." That seems too good to be true as the car is probably experiencing the same seat belt problem. Haven't called the Ford number for an update yet, but they were pretty useless last time.

I really thought I was getting mine this week considering the dealership was on board with the new EDD. Got my hopes up on accident just so they could be dashed.

Mine is in Mesquite with the Texans which is three hours away from me. Called the dealer, and they said they didn't see it being on hold in their system. In fact, they still think it's gonna be delivered "any day now." That seems too good to be true as the car is probably experiencing the same seat belt problem. Haven't called the Ford number for an update yet, but they were pretty useless last time.

I really thought I was getting mine this week considering the dealership was on board with the new EDD. Got my hopes up on accident just so they could be dashed.

My car is in that same yard and I get the same story from my dealer.

assuming the seatbelt thing is true (no one in the know will really confirm or deny this so it probably is true) Id guess the issue is likely to be a bad batch of bolts or something. I can't imagine we would have had to wait like this unless the fix required new parts. Ford has probably been waiting on a new vendor to deliver parts or something.

I can only imagine mine is too, but nobody is giving me any info. :frusty:

We were so close to getting our mustangs this week. I just want some answers on the issue and if it has to be sent back to Michigan.

They should get there soon, guys.
