Chill out. Admins never speculated on order date AFAIK.... it was actually about specs and they were just relaying info from Ford... http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showpost.php?p=38274&postcount=3

As for the May 20th date, this date was from Ford's fleet bulletin which several people who work for Ford on Blue Oval forums and elsewhere were all saying the same. It was also posted on many industry sites such as Donlen (in the ordering schedule thread) and I believe Brian Five Oh, a dealer on here, confirmed it as well.

We're all frustrated, but to blame it on the admin here is ridiculous.
I wasn't blaming the admins for lying. Speculation isn't lying. They are just trying to break information first like any news source would. I thought the fleet bulletin said 5/13?

I don't think they ever claimed that the info was solid fact. We were all clamoring for them to ask Ford when specs/pricing would be out and they did and relayed that info. Unless they work for Ford, how can they control what happens beyond that? I think some of us are just pissed off and want someone to blame.

The fleet bulletin said 5/13 and then it was updated/another sent out that said 5/20.

I could be flat out wrong but that's all I meant. You're right that I am disappointed along with a lot of these guys.

I received a call from my dealer this morning. He knows I have been ready to order for some time. I gave him all the dealer codes for the body, color, interior, trans, engine, rear, wheels, and most options I want. Then he said he can not build one for me because he does not have pricing and the web page was down? Why do we have to go through all this Bull****? I have a trade. I have the money. What is wrong with this picture ?

Tomorrow I'm going to the Audi dealer and and checking out a new ragtop.

Thank you for your interest in a new 2015 Mustang. We should have our order guides by the end of June or early July. As soon as we have those guides and pricing we can start placing orders.
Hmmm...

If this is the case then perhaps it's going to be a while before we see some specs?

I'm not going to stress over it. I mean really, even if order banks open and we get pricing tomorrow as originally predicted and everyone clamors to order one... then what? We WAIT. For MONTHS. Is ordering one tomorrow going to make that wait any easier than it would be ordering next week or the week after that? Certainly will not for me. All it does is fast forward to the next chapter in the waiting game. Unfortunately, in this case fast forwarding doesn't make the end come any sooner. ;)

First world problems, right?

I think many are going to look back and realize that in the big scheme of things, all of this obsessing was wasted energy... :)

Jeeze...calm down. Be thankful they will build a car like this. I am just as anxious as you are but really? People getting all pissed of an irate is a bit funny to me.

I am sure Audi will take your money.

NO worries! I'm not buying a Audi. Just going to look things over and kick tires.
I know I have to wait even if I could place the order tomorrow. The problem comes into play for me as the convertibles are scheduled for Job 2. That means I will probably be driving it in the winter. I really want this car no later than early Sept when I go on vacation.

You wont see any Convertibles hitting showroom floors till March of 2015. Mark my words! ;)

Also You will have to be super duper lucky to get a Coupe before October 1st.

I realize we have to be patient to ensure Ford gets it right, but this is why I want to me there that first day. My current car may not make it to November, so I want to be in line on day one. I'm keeping my 6PM appointment tomorrow with my local dealer. He hasn't called to cancel yet. If he does... :kickrock::kickrock::kickrock:
