Bright reverse light?

On my (sold) 2015 GT I had a really bright reverse light that I thought was stock.. but now I'm not so sure. My '19 GT reverse light isn't nearly as bright and I want to remedy that... I miss the great nighttime reverse vis I had on my old car. I'm aware of the diode dynamics light:

I got this one: Super Bright LEDS, Cool White 6000K 3156-WHP28-T
550 lumens. Very pleased with it. Only $6.

EDIT Oct 5, 2022 : LED bulb stopped working after 14000km. The LED's tested ok. Fault lies with some circuit inside the core of the lamp. This bulb should last forever given that it's only in use for reversing. Easy enough to change and cheap enough to replace, but still... it should last longer than this. Going for a warranty replacement as it has been just over 2 years.

Yep. I take my reverse light lumens very seriously. Also, since just about every light bulb on my Bullit is already LED, it's pretty much the only bulb I have to replace for more output, versus outfitting the entire car. So compared to some of my other cars, this was not a huge expense in LEDs, go figure, lmao

I went with the Diode Dynamics XP80, much brighter than OEM.

I went with this one in 6000K. Super bright and color is identical to the led license lights. Because the leds are on the sides and not in the center, the housing looks like it has leds at each end, middle is darker. And the chrome center looks good in the housing. Some of the others that have the yellow leds in the center, you can see from the outside and that bugged me.

I ended up going with the VLEDS V6 triton as it’s on 20% off sale too! I’ll be sure to post pictures. I prefer to buy one bulb instead of a two pack, which I have done here.
