Now that my suspension is squared away (thanks BmacIL) it on to the brakes.

I have bought the Girodisc slotted for the front and Baer slotted for the rear.
I'm looking into brake pads now. I would like an all around DD and high speed Autobahn. What do you think?

You've got the 6-piston Brembos on that beast, right?

Did you have some issue with the stock pads? They should be good-to-go for serious use, unless you're lapping on a closed track that's unusually hard on the brakes. They should be fine for stopping from 100+ down to zero, as long as you aren't doing a ton of back-to-back stops from 100+.

Upgrades from the stock pads to handle even more heat will have downsides in noise (squeaking) and dust. The stockers for the Brembo's on our case are really pretty good.

Yes I have the 6-piston Brembos.

So just continue to purchase the OEM pads for the new rotors?

I mean, there are other options similar to the stock pads. Some dust less than the stock pads, some may be cheaper. Personally I think the stock pads are a good compromise of performance and livability.

OEM pads are fine. You don't need new OEM pads just because you got new rotors. Just bed them in.

I have money. That doesn't mean I need 24k gold plated. If stock is good that's fine.

Everyone says you need new brake pads so that's what I thought

For track driving multiple times a year and an intermediate to advanced driver, one would do well on an upgraded compound and brake cooling. Brake cooling and stock pads would be enough for most, though. Fluid upgrade is a must for the track.

I'm daily driving and Autobahn.
For fluid I was looking at 5.1 Liqui Moly

You can definitely do better. Motul RBF660, Castrol SRF. For that use I would just stick with stock pads.

I lived in Germany. I have driven 150 mph on the Autobahn for almost 20 minutes straight on may way between cities and was still getting passed by some cars.

I never thought to myself... I need better brake fluid. Because I didn't.

Stock brake fluid is fine for driving fast on the Autobahn. If you were TRACKING your car, especially on the ring, then yeah... get Castrol SRF brake fluid.

But high temp brake fluid is also much more susceptible to absorbing water and you have to replace it more often. Stock fluid is a great balance all the way up to a novce HPDE track driver.

If you have a Freds Auto Store in Stuggart, they can order Castrol SRF for 65 euro. That's where I got mine and it was delivered in two days.

Most 'tuned' cars here top out at 155 mph (~250 km/h).
That's good I can just use the stock fluid. I will hit the Ring this summer but it will be one time because I'm a ways away.

I will ask around for Fred's if it's just to check them out.
