Hello fellow Forummembers,

I’m kinda stuck with a big problem here. I got my new rear brake calipers with new brake lines. The screw that has to go in the brake caliper has a different thread than the thread of the brake caliper which is smaller than the brakeline-screw.

I made a video on the subject. Is this normal for the first time? Or could this be a production defect of the caliper, cuz as far I know these brakeline-screws should be universal? And could this be bad, if I just screw it in with the wrench (which will f* up the inner thread). And blow the metal out of the caliper?

I kinda need some advice here

That bolt definitely does not look correct (to me) and I would not force it into the caliper otherwise you risk destroying the threads in the caliper.
