I was recently investigating some brake ducting for my GT350R and I came across some cooling provisions that seem almost incomplete. On the front of the GT350 there are ducts that direct air to the inner fender towards the brakes but nothing directly directing them at the rotors. I then came across some pics of the Ford Performance Front Control Arm Kit (I guess which apparently comes stock on the Performance Pack equipped S550). On it are some air deflectors that mount to some existing holes. Does anyone know if these air deflectors are available separately from Ford? Part Number? Or is the only way to get it by buying the Ford performance M-3075-F kit? Thanks.

At Track Tour, Ford engineers explained the aero (front and undercarriage) on the GT350 which funnel air very efficiently to cool not only the brakes, but also to the tranny, transaxle. I think you can actually find videos of Ford engineers talking about aero on the car. All that to say you don't need any brake upgrades for the gt350. I just got back from Track Attack and no brake fade at all.

I also track a Coyote s197 with FP brake ducts.

Are you finding you are taxing the brakes?

I think it depends on the track you drive at. I've been to Harris Hill which is tight and 90 mph max, and my brakes aren't even working up a sweat.

Then I go to COTA which has slow turn back corners at the end of 140+ mph straights and my brakes are super hot and working really hard.

Also big wheels and tires will allow you to brake harder and stress the brakes more.
