On the passenger side behind the coolant overflow tank, the plastic bracket where the plastic screw was held in place chipped or broke off (probably at the dealership when they removed everything to swap out my engine). The plastic screw attached to the large electrical wire now has nowhere to stay in place.

I'm assuming it's safe to just leave the wire alone? It seems like a PITA to switch out that entire bracket just to give it a new hole.

As long as the wire isn't just flopping around, I'm sure it's fine. If it does have some movement, see if you can just use a wire tie to secure it to something nearby.

Since the wire is pretty fat there isn't much play for it to move much. I was just worried it being too close to a heat source or the bracket having some important positioning of the wire, but you're probably right. These push pins and screws probably come loose or break on a lot of our mustangs.
