Boundary Black Oil Pump Gear Install

This is part of a larger project but wanted to share some info as these gears specifically DO have an orientation necessary when being installed. The ones pictured are for a GT500 high volume oil pump but these are also made for the stock oil pump that come with the 5.0 models and I have been running a standard (if you can call it that) Boundary oil pump gear for the last three years in my Whipple setup. So, regardless of black opg version you get, install orientation is as follows.

Their product does not appear to be very impressive. The set of Boundary gears i had in my stock engine looked like crap too.

No offense towards OP.
But does anyone else feel these "black" oil pump gears are just snake oil designed to turn a bigger profit?

I think the old saying is applicable here. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Fords OPG design is perfectly adequate why mess with it?

Just my .02. Take it for what it is. Just opinions.
