Car is producing cold AC but bot blowing much of it out. I tried the seat cooler as well and took about 30 seconds before i could feel it but it definitely was cooling. The dealer I brought it from had the compressor replaced a few weeks ago.
When maxing out the fan speed I can hear the blower, sounds like its in the glove box, but no more air comes out of the vents.
General consensus from a couple of locals on the mustang facebook page say its likely the blend door, and possibly even a warped evap case.

Any thoughts? I have let the dealer know of the issue and they said they’ll take care of it but I want to make sure its addressed correctly, would like to be as armed as possible with info before I go in to the dealer Monday.

If its an easy fix I’m fairly handy and can take care of it myself, but from what I’ve heard the blend door or a warped evap case requires taking out the dash to fix.

It’s either bad EVAP core (see sticky thread at top of this forum) as that is the most common failure in the S550’s or the blend door.

If it’s only a matter of low air flow coming from vents but air is still cold, then it’s blend door.

Twist on it, today the AC system worked as normal, obviously an intermittent issue. Sound more like the blend door or something else?

I was able to confirm that Ford replaced the Evap Core under warranty over a year ago, the dealership said they replaced a bad AC compressor before I bought it, so any issues left would likely be the blend door.

Yep, sounds like it's an intermittent blend door if the AC seems to work normal again.
