a/c issue

My GT will freeze me out on MAX. This is in DFW. I have no complaints here. Of course, I'm in no way saying "Mine works, yours must." - I'm just adding feedback saying mine cools the way it should. Now I've still got brake squeal and misaligned body panels, but hey, it's a Mustang, not a 7 series.

I set mine to the lowest setting for temp and no matter what speed I set the temp at it speeds up and slows down fan speed. Very noticeable and annoying.

mine blows plenty cold, so i hate to complain...but on defrost or AC when i go to pass someone and rev it on up there it kicks it up a few levels...when i check, it's on fan level 1...but literally about to blow my face off.

i guess its better than having the weak ones i've been reading about, but i just want it to stay where i set it...any ideas?

6500 miles AC dead

Yup. Crapped at 6500 miles.
Have to diagnose tomorrow.

Has anyone had a a/c fail on a base model or is this only a premium issue?

GT base 6500 miles AC out.
Compressor clutch is ok.
Relay ok.
Havent checked low or high side yet but computer is not letting clutch engage on demand so suspect pressure sensors, pressures, leak, etc.
If pressure senosors read low, cmpressor will not engage.

Anyone know where the 2 sensors are?
I see one top left of rad. Wheres other?
