Has anyone replaced the bottom seat cushion on cooled seats? Any DIY videos or instructions on doing so?
Thanks

I have taken my seat apart but only for exploratory reasons to see what feels so uncomfortable, not to actually replace the cushion. I have a thread on here with some pictures I will link if you are still looking for help.

Yes that would be great. It seems the previous owner might have been a heavyweight for the seat does feel a bit collapsed, especially when I compare it to the passenger side. Not sure if the foam is a bit crushed or the metal springs underneath. It is a premium so it has the heat/cooled seats.

OK I will find it tonight. I am looking to add some material to mine since I sink down in it to the point where my back is not resting against the seat back properly.

Thanks. The video is not for the heated/cooled seats though, correct me if I am wrong. A new seat cushion from Ford is not the expensive at all.
Thanks again for the info.

Correct the seat in that video is not heated/cooled but it's the same process to access the cushioning. The foam is different though, it's slotted for air flow on our Premium seats. A new seat cushion for our seats is about $120 from Tasca Ford parts. My dealer replaced mine and it is exactly the same so I would advise against replacing it on your own dime thinking that will be the fix, unfortunately.

^^ Advice noted. Thank you.
I did pick up a foam seat wedge from Amazon that I use for long drives. It soft enough and not that thick as to raise my position in the seat that much at all. It seems to help. More testing needed though.
