Boss Manifold installation complete

OP did you have to buy some install kit to install your boss or was it just the Boss intake and that's it?

I bought the $10 LMR install kit which was just a hose with two clamps. Just lets you put the purge valve under the throttle body.

Are you still able to use a Strut Tower brace with the Boss or Cobra Jet intake???

the front upper K-brace still fits the same, but not the strut tower that goes straight across the top of the manifold.

Bummer!!! Does it hit the manifold??? Could it work with a couple spacers on the mounts???

After reading all of this I think I will doing the exact same mods OP has since I have the 3.73's as well. I did the Boss intake swap to me 2011 5.0 that had 3.31's and the MT82 and I could feel the low end torque loss. I thought I read somewhere that there was a replacement brace that would clear the Boss intake on the 2015's? I'm pretty sure the 12/13 Boss brace wouldn't work either. I will have to look around for that info tomorrow and if I come across it I will post the info here.

How bad was the tq loss in the 3.31? I got the 3.31 manual

If people want low down torque by a truck or camaro. The lack of down low torque is really blown out of proportion. Its not like its a honda all of a sudden.

There's no brace for the 2015's that will clear it. You're thinking of the previous gen Boss brace.

Yeah I have no trouble passing people while in 5th gear at 2k RPM.
