I'm curious as to when a Boost-A-Pump is needed. I think I've read or been told that for 600 RWHP or less, the stock fuel pump itself is fine. The Roush Stage 1 system actually doesn't include a boost pump. I think I may have also seen where base KB systems use 47lb injectors in their kits without a pump as well. My new build with a 2300TVS comes with 52lb injectors. If I needed a Boost-a-pump at some point, can anyone tell me if the VMP one is a good choice? Thanks.

Whipple has tested the stock 52lb injectors and pump at just over 90 % inj. duty cycle at 700 whp. I would think most other SC systems would be around that as well.

Sorry are you saying that the stock pump without a booster is adequate unail you hit over 700 rwhp?

Yeah without booster it's around the 700 whp, and there's room for a little more or less.

You won't need one with the 52lbs injectors. But for some reason Lund won't even tune you with out one. Maybe for safety? If you want more power you need to go id1000 or id1050x. Even then you don't need one but it's recommended
