So, I had my Paxton Supercharger installed a couple months back. I posted a thread about it before . I'm doing a lot of upgrades as we speak, but one thing I'm having trouble with is the boost gauge. I don't know how informed anyone is on the boost Omega box for SCT, but this is supposed to read real time boost to live link You have to figure out the formula and input the formula into live link and then you can export it to your device in a configuration . There is a FireWire analog cord that you buy with it so you don't have to run power and ground, it directly hooks into the SCT device .
For some reason it is not reading correctly. First off, I want to verify and make sure I have my Boost line tube hooked into the right spot. I do have an 18 manifold, so I don't know if that makes a difference or not when I'm explaining it. I hooked the line into the tube that comes off of the blow off valve and and I'm thinking maybe that goes into the break booster . My buddy seems to think this would work and another friend told me that's what he did . When I try to drive the car to pick up boost, it would not go over like 1. 8 or so. Now it could be because I have the formula wrong or I'm doing something else wrong, but obviously I want to make sure I had it hooked up in the right spot underneath the hood first off . I'm supposed to be getting 10 psi at 7300 RPMs from what my tuner told me from the dyno when I first got it installed .Any questions you have, I will try to answer as best I can and any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm trying to figure this out on the SCT device so everyone who has this device and no ngauge, we can read real-time boost on the Fly while we are driving down the road as well as see our other configuration items at the same time without having multiple gauges .

Forgot to mention this, there is a port on the front and the back of the 18 manifold that is just capped off. It is probably 1/4 outside diameter or maybe even 3/8 . I wonder if I can do I to that

I know this is a old thread but have you figured out this problem? I have a paxton on the 18 mani with a 3.33 pulley and I cant get my boost gauge to read over 8psi! I just pressure tested my system to 25 psi and I have no leaks. I am tied into the brake booster line before the check valve, my Tial Q50 BOV is also on this line and works properly. I am going crazy as I can not figure this out. I did regulate air from my compressor to my gauge to make sure it is reading correctly. Even bought another gauge and they both read the same.

But to answer this those ports just go through the manifold. They do not have to be capped off.
