Where is a good location to get a vacuum/boost reading from?

No place permanent. I calibrate pressure gauges for a living, among other items. I have a Fluke pressure calibrator ($3000 pressure meter)that I was going to temporarily connect just to see what the boost is. I just need to T or tap into some line and run a hose inside the car.

Gotcha... I'm trying to figure out where to put my Eboost 2 controller, and no pods/bezels are out yet.
