Hello everyone,

Any recommendations for a CAI and tune combo? What kind of gains should I see with this? This is my first time tuning and i would like to hear some experiences. I want something that i can load into the car that wont cause headaches.

Also, In the future I want to upgrade to the gt350 intake manifold with throttle body, will a cai for the 5.0 fit?

Thank you!
Matt :)

Forget CAI and get a panel filter. Then get a Lund tune and you will love the difference. :)

JLT intake and tune should give you 25-30whp gains on 93 pump. I picked up 27whp with that combo.

Knowing what I know now, if I were back starting, like you -

Get the Lund Flex Fuel tune, and do a resonator delete pipe with a quality axleback.

That, or I would just do a whipple and a resonator delete x-pipe, and be done with worrying about bolt on power mods. Then you can focus on cosmetics, handling, etc.

Afe Pro dry filter is a good choice, filters well and flows better with no risk to the MAF.

There is tons of info on this board if you use the search feature, CAI's and tunes seem to be talked about daily
