Just wait until she's at work or out of town. At least that's my strategerie! :D
She went out of town for a half marathon and I installed lowering springs. She's been parking next to it for two weeks now and is completely oblivious to the fact that it sits lower now. ;)
I know what you mean, even with installation done without her knowing the sound itself will give the mod away.:D
And she thinks the stock exhaust is loud...lol.

I'm trying to figure out how to get a supercharger installed with mine gone at some point. Just not sure I can do it fast enough lol. Nice mods, how's it drive vs pre mods?

Mine took the sarcastic route, informing me that watching countless CJPP videos does not qualify as formal training. She even had a mechanic (family friend) on call in case of emergency.

Although, I have to admit ... never again will I believe "30 minutes and you'll be off and running in no time." Damn you Bill ...

It's a noticeable improvement over something that was great to begin with.

Ride: Definitely took the bounce out of the rear end and firmed up the ride overall without becoming harsh. Overall it's pretty much perfect now ... which says a lot considering how awful SoCal highways/streets are.

Sound: Completely agree with every review ever ... the stock exhaust is far too quiet for such a great sounding engine. This combination is moderately loud at cold start but once it warms up it settles down and sounds great. I have a highway commute (average 75 mph) and there is zero drone. Drive casual and shift between 2.5k-3k and you probably won't get much attention. Step into it and it definitely announces itself.

Performance: This is tough to gauge since the butt dyno always lies. However, I would say the throttle response is more accurate and the motor seems to pull more evenly. I'll know more once I get over the 1k mile mark and get to open it up a little.

Overall, I love it. Just need to grow into it a little since I'm coming over from an Infiniti G37S Coupe which had a very, very different personality. Where that car was prissy and refined this car is just fundamentally pissed off. :D

Ha! My MF Street cat back was the one mod I let her in on. I installed it and the first words out of her mouth were "Well that's a thousand dollars waisted. It still sounds the same to me!" And with a real snarky attitude I must say. She's not deaf, just a bitch when she wants to be :D

Not doing exhaust at all. She already prohibits me from taking the car in the middle of the night on call. She thinks it's way to loud. Maybe if I can get a nice switchable in the future.
