So wtf is this. Guy gets behind me in a M3 Competition. Dude drives behind me, drives sane then along side me approaching a light, and the car sounded like someone stuck a friggin M80 in the tailpipe. Anyone know wtf that was all about..?

Guys it was louder and more of a single pop, like a friggin M80. Could be because that’s an M340 in the vid and this was an M3 competition.

Dude, I just want to drive my car and have people LMTF alone. I’m sitting at the light with the windows down and that crap happens.
Is that useless tune like a button like nitrous, or do you actually drive around with it like that all day?….I ask because he was rolling slow and quiet to the light and bang.

The BMW sport plus exhaust note is somewhat annoying. Most BMW drivers turn it off after awhile. But, regardless of the noise, the M3 competition is damned fast. I turn mine on sometimes, just for fun. But, it feels juvenile pretty quickly.

Man these are just awful sounding cars when you change the exhaust. Even the old school NA i6s kinda sounded bad if you overdid the exhaust on them but nothing like this.
