LCA bearing folks. LCA bearing. Do it.
Absolutely. I have been preaching this for over a year now.

Definitely a huge upgrade.

However, by itself it does little for wheel hop - how could it with all of the remaining slop in the system? What it does do is keep the cradle in-line with the chassis which has far broader handling benefits than simply reducing wheel hop.
It is a different experience on each persons situation and application.

On my stock PP, the wheel hop severity was lessened to where I can now bang through the gears and not let out of the throttle due to fear of breaking other components. This is with stock tires, and no other modifications.

In some cases, firming up the cradle can make wheel hop seem worse...since the firmer cradle makes the harshness of the wheel hop more noticed.

In some other cases, I have had people call me to inform me that the CB005 finished their package of components and removed the last bit of wheel hop.

It is all a package, as mentioned. There is slop everywhere.

What the CB005 does do is, makes the suspension work more effectively. Those sway bars, springs, and dampers are now more and quicker to respond to inputs. The wicked geometry change under heavy corner loads is lessened - corner exit is drastically improved based on my personal testing, and I have found that removing the cradle slop enables the user to use slightly less aggressive wheel rates to achieve ultimate handling and grip.

The CB005 was not intended to be the magic wheel hop solver, nor was it made to set records at the drag strip - it was intended to be used by the masses from daily drivers, to road course to drag strip and help provide a better performing car and suspension characteristics.

It also serves well as a jacking point for swapping the rear wheels out, I use this feature every weekend! :headbang:

Some people just don't get it. It's the rears biggest Rubber and people keep dicking around with everything else. It's obvious of the wheel hop cause people.

I'll get the lca inserts soon, as is now I am very impressed by the cradle lock-out and subframe bushings, much more predictable handling. Thanks BMR!

Hi there - glad you asked

Wanting to purchase a kit but the postage to Australia is (according to your web page) more than the cost of the kit (doubles the price for us buying direct). Any chance of a postage discount for right hand drive mustang owners down under? Is there an Australian distributor for your excellent kit? :)

We can always use USPS, which is much cheaper.

Or, usually, our Aus customers acquire the parts from our large suppliers.

Shoot an email to [email protected] and request a quote to Aus, if you want to order direct. ;)

Do you recommend an alignment after installing your CB005?
