I figured I would make a post about the TR005 Links, and give a short explanation of why they are the best links available.

Initially, when testing, we found that the OEM Links eccentric bolt adjustment method was not up to the task of handling a higher powered performance vehicle. We experienced toe slip, so we immediately integrated "lock out plates" into the kit before ever releasing the TR005 to the public.

With that feature being the benefit to the TR005 over the rest, fortunately our testing paid dividends for the other companies who began to offer the lock out plates with their Toe Link kits :headbang: We are glad we could help them out!

While the lock out plates are a necessity, that is not the only feature that we implemented into our design from the get-go.

The BMR-TR005 Links also feature offset bearing spacers on the IRS Cradle mounting side. These offset spacers ensure that the toe link offers the most beneficial geometry when the suspension is static and during compression (think handling and drag race launches).

Here you can see the offsets I speak of:

Thanks to those that give us the opportunity to do what we do!

To add, I have also found that EVERY "non PP" car I have touched, or seen to inspect, has had the "PP" Toe Links with bearing on them.

If you are reading this, and have a non-PP car, I would love to know if you have the PP links or not.

Non-PP car here, had PP Toe Links. I also verified that the part number on the bushing in the toe link was identical to the FRPP one.

Here is a shot comparing the factory toe link to knuckle bushing to the FRPP (Or PP Toe Link) one:

My non-PP car built 04/15 also had the PP toe links with bearings. When I installed the BMR LCA bearings I also reused the FREE toe bearings form my stock links that I wasn't using anymore and installed them in the knuckles.

I have a base non-PP car, but do indeed have the PP toe links from factory. My car was built in October '14.

I'd actually like to see a non-pp toe link.

If it used that same bushing as the stock knuckle to toe link it would just be a sloppy mess.

I don't think there is such a thing...lol

Which is unfortunate for the people spending the money on "PP" Toe Links, who think they don't have them already.

OK, so I can take out the oem toe link spherical bearing and replace it with the circled bearing? I had my hubs off last week for my halfshaft swap :D

Yes. The toe link bearing in the factory toe rods is the same bearing that ford racing sells to put in the hub to replace the rubber bushing.

We are very happy to know that these BMR-TR005 Adjustable Toe Links have been chosen by the World's Fastest Drag-Race S550 IRS Mustang (Mo Makki) and the World's Fastest Road Course S550 IRS Mustang (PAE).

But even better, these TR005 Links were chosen and have been installed on the Specialized and Serialized production Shelby American® vehicles, as well as the Saleen Automotive® High Performance Production vehicles.

Here is a quick shot of a special color for Saleen® from a batch of (30) chassis and suspension packages we are shipping to them. ;)
