I'm currently looking for 3 or 4 upgrades to my suspension. Front and rear. Curious to see who has what and what has performed well for you guys. I've searched and read a few things but nothing is convincing. Looking to better the suspension for drag/roll racing.

Currently looking at
BMR's cradle lock out kit & spherical vertical links.

Steeda's IRS subframe support braces & the subframe alignment and support kit

UPR's stage 2 pro street package which is most of these items above.

Any other better suggestions would be great.
Either way I'm pretty set on vertical links. Either the delrin or spherical bushings. Some type of IRS support.

For the front I am looking at Steeda's front control arm vertical links.
The problem with the front I'm having is when you punch it, the front becomes very light and feels almost uncontrollable. Feels like there's some play in the steering wheel and I'd like to stiffin that up some way. Appreciate it.

You can see in my signature what I have installed and I am 100% satisfied with the results. Your steering issue is strange and I have nothing to offer there. The only Steeda parts on my car are front and rear stabilizer bar end links. I got them for the cost of shipping from a guy who had bought them for his car and did not like how close the zerk fittings were to the magneride struts. He had them installed for about 300 miles.

Interestingly, when I installed them I found that my left front end link was slightly bent. No idea when that happened. The factory end links are somewhat weak in appearance compared to the Steeda units.

Steeda offers vertical links with poly bushings which cuts down on NVH. I also run the Steeda IRS braces and Steeda 2 point G Trac brace up front and their jacking rails. I’ve not used BMR but been happy with the Steeda stuff I have. Will probably add the vertical links in the fall when the weather cools off

Appreciate it guys.
I'm also leaning towards Steeda even though the prices are a bit higher.

Steeda makes really functional parts. Its a damn shame the finish is garbage. Look elsewhere if you care about longevity

Happy with my Steeda Stop the Hop stuff. The UPR stuff looks really nice too, i don't know if i've seen anyone try their kit though.

I think you should figure out your steering issue before throwing these parts on the car first though, because that doesn't sound normal.

Really inspect your tires closely, i had a bubble on the inside of one of my Pirellis within 3k miles and it made the front feel similar especially during first gear on pulls. I'd also check alignment (take it to a GOOD shop and tell them what you're feeling when you drive the car hard) and if possible post your numbers on here.

I don't have a sheet from my last alignment but that was about 5 months ago. I will inspect the tires because like you mentioned, mine aren't very old either. Maybe have 4 or 5k miles

Know that all aftermarket bracing is not for street, not crash tested. No reason for it when FORD has DOT bracing that won't pierce the floor pan and your body parts in a serious crash haha.

Steeda vertical links are very nice look new after 3 winters.

Just to add to the discussion here on durability my BMR parts are nearly six years old now and look like new with just a wipe off with WD-40. The finish is very tough. All of my BMR stuff is red on a Magnetic Metallic car.
