If you notice, the heights are all very similar because we feel these heights are best for geometry.
Average drops for these springs on a PP GT are as follows:
SP080: 1.24" Front / .40" Rear
SP083: 1.25" Front / .50" Rear
SP086: 1.25" Front / .50" Rear
RIDE QUALITY:
SP080 - Amazing. The number of people swapping to these springs from "others" is growing, and the feedback is perfect. These are "the" spring for those who plan to keep stock dampers, and just want a little more from their S550.
SP083 - Tight! These springs, I developed with aftermarket dampers in mind. The rear PP dampers work okay with the 980lb/in rear springs, but the front struts really need more valve and oscillation control. I have spent some time with these springs on a car with stock dampers, and it isn't too bad....but I think the majority will feel it's a little too much jounce.
SP086 - Smooth, but a little unbalanced. These springs ride great. The issue is, the soft front rate combined with the stiffer rear rate...isn't particularly the best when approaching corners is "tight/quick" maneuvers. These are really designed for the person who only cares about straight line traction and performance.
