Bluetooth messaging lost with ios 10.2 ?

Since I got my Mustang 10 months ago, incoming text messages have been announced on the Sync 2 display.

Ever since I upgraded my iPhone 6S to ios 10.2, Sync 2 now says "the connected phone does not support Bluetooth messaging".

Anyone else having this problem ?

solved my own problem - the old "turn it off and on again trick" (the phone that is) :headbonk:

So yours is working again? I'm running 10.2.1 on my iPhone 6+ on Sync 2 with MFT v3.8 and I get that message, "the connected phone does not support Bluetooth messaging". I think mine stopped working when I upgraded MFT to 3.8, been trying to figure out a way to get it working again. It clearly isn't the phone as it worked fine before. I've even tried removing the phone and re-pairing it and even done a reset on the Sync system and reloaded everything.

yes, I power-cycled the phone and all is well.

what is "MFT" ?
