Hi,

Is any one having troubles as me with the bluetooth on the base model?

I sync my phone perfectly but every time when I´m listening music it stops for one or 2 seconds and then the song continue in a very anoying fast forward way (you know when the music is progressing rapidly and you hear everything higher pitched). I guess the song is trying to catch up because that little lag...

This happens at least twice for every song and is making almost imposible to listening music by BT :frusty:

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5. I been trying to hold my phone in different car positions (Not that many options on this car). I turn off and on the BT on the phone. Sync again the phone but the problem keeps going!
The car is brand new. Just one week of use!!!!

The only time I have experienced this issue was when I was streaming from Spotify on my Note 4 while also using the Google Maps app for Navigation and putting the screen to sleep simultaneously.

All the issues I've had are with my phone and not wanting to play Pandora correctly. It works great for music stored on the SD card.

The problem happens using Spotify (pro with the music already saved on the phone for offline use) and regular music saved on the phone.

I don't know about a Galaxy but I haven't had a problem on my iPhone six regarding lag. However, I did have a problem with SYNC going haywire and some buttons not working like they should. If push comes to shove, try to do a system reset by holding the power and skip forward buttons at the same time before taking it to the dealer. It worked for me and it may alleviate your problem as well

I used to have this issue at first but it just went away after a while. At first it would skip maybe once a day when I first started the car now it syncs perfectly

If you can recreate the issue easily maybe you can get ford to swap it out for you if it doesn't improve

Master reset didn't work for me. I'm going to pull the battery cable tomorrow.

Hi felipequi,

I agree with Eco_roller. Have you tried a master reset: http://owner.ford.com/sync-technology/perform-master-reset-sync

Iceman2733,

Does it show BLUETOOTH SYNC on your car or on the phone?

Wera750,

I don't suggest disconnecting the battery without consulting your dealer. If the issue continues, I recommend making an appointment.

You can pull fuse 32 in the passenger side SJB for about 2 min and then reinstall. This will cut power to the sync module, door locks, and start circuit I believe.

I do this whenever sync acts up with me (will not stream BT audio at all) and it does the trick every time.
