Hi guys,

I need some advice on how can I resolve an issue on my 2016 mustang pls.
The car's audio works perfectly on radio or CD and bluetooth connectivity is working like a charm. But as soon as I connect my phone via bluetooth or carplay, even USB, there is no audio playing from the media (connection has no issues) but the time line of the particular song keeps running as thou its being played on Sync. When a call comes in, the person on the other end can hear me but I can't hear anything from my side. Siri or voice command pop up upon clicking but i cant hear any command :headbonk:

I have tried a few steps reading from forum to youtube,

1) increase volume to max to test
2) Master reset on sync
3) Remove battery negative terminal and left it 10-15 mins before reconnecting
4) removed the 10 amp fuse for sync 3 below the passenger dash
5) tried multiple devices from ios and android and multiple USB with mp3 as well

I cant seem to solve this issue, can anyone help me out or let me know any other advice to check or fix this issue.

Thank you guys.

Are you using Bluetooth and have the phone plugged into the USB port? That may be causing the conflict. Check to see that the USB is set as a media device and not charge only.

Connected via Bluetooth only. Unplugged all and disconnected Bluetooth and tried USB, still not working

Curious, Did you fix this? Mine is doing it. When I connect with bluetooth or usb nothing but popping from the speakers. When on the phone they can hear me fine.

OP's last post was in April and it was regarding an Android unit. Probably never fixed it. I would suggest starting a new thread in this section to get some answers.
