@AttiS550 @bigred90gt Thank you for the photos. They're very helpful and both cars are super clean!
Seeing a nice clear shot of the silver PP wheels on DIB now, I have to admit that they do look too "busy" for my personal taste. There's just far too many spokes in what I'm sure was a Euro look that Ford was trying to achieve with those wheels to accompany their new Euro-inspired S550. Plus as I mentioned before, I'm a lazy wheel cleaner and all those nooks and crannies scare me!
The MMD's look great to me and I can say for certain that if I go with silver wheels, something in a 5, 7 or 9-spoke pattern will win out for sure.
My original plan was to settle on a new wheel style now so that I could budget appropriately to have them on the car by late summer/early fall. However, I may have to try and convince my wife to give me her blessing before Mustang Week in Myrtle Beach this July. Seeing all these great wheels on DIB is giving me a serious itch for an upgrade!
It was actually a photo similar to this one that inspired me to go with the silver stripes in the first place. That looks like such a classy gentleman's muscle car. I LOVE the colors on that thing.

I can kind of see that. Like I mentioned before in this thread, the wheel color I choose will totally determine the style direction I go in with this car. Silver wheels will send me towards a classy and classic-looking blue/silver/chrome style like the old Shelby 427 Cobra, whereas charcoal/gunmetal wheels will point me to a more sinister, edgy style. After seeing all these pictures over the last several days, I'm starting to think that just generally-speaking, deep impact blue lends itself to be more of a classy type of color, while black, magnetic and even competition orange seem to be better-suited as "tough guy" colors.[...] I think that the silver makes DIB more blue while the darker wheels makes DIB more purple.
