I won't get another black car. It just marks up way too easily.

I wish they did a very dark metallic flake charcoal like grey/black. I'd be all over that.

Black is by far my favorite car color...Every single black car I've had has been a losing battle...Regardless of the method I use it ends up looking awful if isnt washed weekly and scratches/swirls everywhere...The only way I would own a black car is if I had the clear bra over the entire car...

Unfortunately if you see Magnetic in person, it's not that dark. It's sorta a gunmetal. I'm talking much darker but still not black. Almost like a charcoal. Subura in the WRX has a dark grey metallic that is close.

I just hate the non-metallic paints. Race Rec, White, Black would all be much better if they had flaking in them.

Agreed. I LOVE black but it is just a losing battle. You would have to 3m the whole car (my friend did this with her 2011 Race Red Mustang).

My final 2 colors I've narrowed it down to are Magnetic and Ruby Red.

Agreed on all counts. And Ruby Red and Magnetic is a really hard choice. IMO you can't go wrong with either unless it effects the interior you want. I wound up choosing magnetic as it fits me more and any visual mods I'd want for it would look better with magnetic. But stock for stock under the right lighting, nothing beats Ruby Red imo.

Also, black w/ pearl effect would look great and it would accentuate the lines much better than plain black.

You and me are on the same page Divine.

I WISH they had white or black with pearl like they do on the Fusion Titanium editions.

I also wish they had a white/silver color that would be close to white, but with a ice/silver hint. BMW has a beautiful color like this.

I was leaning towards Magnetic, but after seeing some shots at the dealer that were just posted, I think Ruby might have taken the lead for me.

Im glad I got black. I know it is a pain the butt to keep clean, but I mean look at that. That is nothing but sleek and sexyness. Just think about the GT grille on it.:love::love:

Now that is a good picture...the black S550s really don't have the edge to them like an S197 in black does, but some of these more recent pictures are making it look better. I think it's the unified quarter window vs B pillar thing that doesn't do it for me...for some reason, black is the only color that I haven't liked on the S550 at least as an equal to the same color on the S197.
