black especially would benefit from clear side markers up front on the headlights. Don't care for the amber, and especially on black would look sleaker clear.

I have to agree. I've owned mostly black cars (including my current) but don't like it as much on the S550. I believe it comes down to the new design having more body surface styling-that tends to get hidden with black. While the current and oldergenerations relied more on design features such as the side scoop, floating quarter window etc. You can call the S550 more style vs design if that makes sense. IMO the lighter and brighter colors compliment the new Mustang better than they have in the past.

But, photos never do a black car justice. In person, the surface styling is easily seen, as you move about.


I am also eager to see these Colors in person. I have a few years yet, waiting on the SVT.
