Black Roof

Anybody here get the black painted roof option?
Or has anybody had it blackened by other methods?
Does this make it too hot on sunny days?

I have a black roof, I remember it got warm in the summertime, but not overly so. I'd rather have the back roof than not - it goes real nice with Comp. Orange and black wheels.

Look into getting black vinyl put on the roof. It likely will be cheaper than having Ford order the painted roof for you.

Wow that's it? A vinyl wrap job was going to be like $800 at a shop in my area. Maybe I will go the paint method.

300 seems to be the rate for getting the roof wrapped.

I got my roof wrapped for 150 or 160.

I may paint it later but it is holding up great so I dont see the point of peeling and painting, at least not now!

How about some pix?
I think it will go nice with yellow or race red also. I'm thinking a GT/CS doesn't have enough black accents for my taste. Being ole skool, I'm thinking rear window louvers would also look badass, sort of like my 69Mach1.

they are trying to bend you over dry. even 300 is high.

Wow I was quoted $150, but ended up only paying $120 for my roof to be wrapped. Came out great and looks awesome.

Mine came with a black roof painted from factory. With the tint it almost looks like the glass roof from the previous models. Love the clean look.
