BK051 and RH017 installation issues

Went to install these today and the front of the cradle will not drop down low enough to install the 65mm bolt. The 35mm bolt will fit though. Anyone know if the instructions are incorrect? I already pulled my catback off to get the cradle where it is.

Well be ready to drop the catback and midpipe section. One of those little things they don't tell you. I'm probably going to disconnect the driveshaft because it really starts pulling on the rubber joint/bearing cover. This install is far more complicated than you're led to believe.

Good to know...mine will be all out anyway. Have a complete new center section going in with Wave Trac and 4.09's

I believe the instructions are wrong. The shortest bolts go in the front of the cradle and thread into the bushings retaining the lockout.

The medium length bolts come in from the back and secure the differential ears into the cradle bushings.

The longest ones come in from the rear and thread into the rear most differential mounting ears.

I had to drop the exhaust on mine to get the cradle low enough to get to the front bolts because of the gas tank clearance.

Thanks. That makes much more sense. I probably would have realized it had I been looking that the BK051 directions instead of the RH017. Here is what's in the RH017.

"Assemble the 65mm bolt (middle bolt in image to the right), large
stainless washer, and lock washer. Apply blue Loctite then thread it into
the front side of the front differential bushing as shown in IMAGE 4.
Hand-tighten until the lock washer is flattened."

I had to disconnect the driveshaft to get the front, lower, driver-side bolt in. So that was fun.
