In looking for a installer, most installers won't touch anything that is not 3M material. If you are looking to have it professionally installed, I would check with your installer first prior to buying a non-3M material.

Most have said the KPMF material looks ok, but they felt it was not tacky enough and wouldn't want to be responsible for the install.

If an installer tells you that I would find a different installer. All wrap vinyl (3M, Avery, KPMF and Hexis) is designed not to stick right away to make an easier install. It is pressure sensitive, meaning it won't stick all the way until you apply pressure on a good surface, so stick your finger to it will make it seem like it doesn't stick well. But installed on your car and it will stick better than regular vinyl. Also it is designed to be able to be removed without damaging the car. If you use regular sign vinyl, it will stick great to your finger and will also be a big mess on your car in a couple of years. So more than likely if the installer is not familiar with pressure sensitive vinyl they are more experienced with signs instead of vehicles. May be a very skilled installer, but just have limited stripe experience.

That sucks bro. I can tell you that it sticks great! They think its going to fall off? I would tell them to install it and sign a waiver for the install. It definitely wont fall off. David has a great point about future removal. Keep us posted.

Big worm David speaks thr truth. I had my crappy Mopro stripes pulled off and replaced with 1080 wrap film. Getting the old stuff was a nightmare to remove. 12 plus man hours to get the surface ready for the new stripes. Stick with wrap film if you can. I will post a side by side review soon.
