I’m contemplating selling my 2012 Boss 302 that I’ve owned since new. I’d like to replace that with a GT 350. I’ve read many different takes but I’m torn if it’s worth the money? Power? Seems like the Boss is better on street. I’m old, more of a car show type than a track guy. I like spirited driving but don’t need to be in competition at 71. Any owners here that have had both cars?

Noooooooo!! Don’t sell it. Just add to. Those two cars equate to the perfect garage, IMO. I don’t have a Boss, but I do have a 197 car that’s about as close as you can get, and I love the dang thing. In some ways more than the 350. I’m currently in the shopping phase for another garage toy and I’m down to two options; a Boss LS car, or build a factory five Daytona. That’s how much I love a good 197 Boss.

Magnaride, transmission, and the active exhaust on the 350 are really great for a street car.

Everything in the interior is better on the S550 platform too.

IRS > solid axle.

Try to drive or at least ride in one if you can, I think they’re really special. The boss will probably have more torque at low RPMs the voodoo is very seriously fast at higher RPMs and speeds.

Traded my 2013 Boss for the GT350 in 2019 and never looked back every option I wanted for the Boss was standard on the GT350. Trans much better independent rear great. I am 75 now and the GT350 is the best driving car I have every owned. YMMV.
