I'm 6'1" and about 340 with big thighs.

I have the recaros and yes they are tight but they are breaking in a bit they cut me under my thighs above the knees abit. They seem to be getting better with time.

All I can say is I have done some good corners and the seats hold you great.

I have a 14 gt track car with recaros and yes they are more comfortable but don't hold as good.

I have sat in tech seats as well which are closer to the boss recaros with comfier upholstery

Just for looks, you got to have those Recarros seats. If you don't, It be like ordering a GT350 with hubcaps.
Completely agree - surprised they even offer a sofa seat in the GT350. The Recaros seats with alcantara complete the interior and make it a bit more special I think.

Don't do it (Recaros that is). I'm 5'11 180 lbs and had a panic attack when my car got here. I've gotten use to them over the last month and actually like them now but can't imagine anyone larger than me enjoying them on a regular basis. My 2 cents.

lol...what real solution can we expect from them?

You all bought a car with race inspired seats and now realize they are really race inspired seats.

I would say a clean diet and sound excercise routine is the best solution...lower the final curb weight and fit the seats

I plan on this option.. but I doubt I'll fit comfortably as I have a large frame anyway. My other options is to buy a recaro profi xl and place it in the car and store the original seat. 800 dollar solution and the stock seat will remain mint :)

I have considered taking the seats to a car upholsterer and seeing if they could shave off some of the side bolster. I sat in the recaros in the showroom and man they were a tight squeeze. I'm 6ft 225lbs with wide hips. It won't be a DD so I might just leave it as is and see if they break in.
