I know it’s probably been asked a lot but what are some good aftermarket wheel options. Not to heavy and nice for performance. Not really looking to run drag radials until later in the build.

^ LMR is best-afflordable, many of them are flow formed, light pretty strong and cheap.

you wont get concours paint, but they’re solid.

Apex is a bit better and still a great value.

Cant go wrong with Apex or LMR mustang-specific styles. There are others but lets start with those two.

I looked at wheels for like 4 months before deciding on the LMR MHP1 19x10 squared with Falken FK510 285/35r19. The lighter wheels were noticeable in a sense that the suspension works better and is smoother on rough roads. I'm the type of guy that doesn't mind spending money, but I am sure that I am getting the best dollar-to-value. After looking at all the cast wheel options and flow formed. LMR was the best choice. Even thought about doing PP1 replica wheels from AM muscle with spacers, but I always ended up at LMR for just a little more money. Even the other flow formed options weren't in stock or they didn't have the correct size and offset, so it was always a compromise and only saved a little money. I mounted them up a week ago and took it on mountain roads. I love having wide tires. But now I have a little bit of tramlining so I have on order the PP cowl extension brace and PP k-member brace. If that doesnt do it then I'll do a BMR 4 point brace up front. My suspension is tight bc its all new, so I think the tramlining is caused by all the extra grip on uneven roads, is causing the chassis to flex and subtle alignment changes. I'll update next weekend after I got it all installed. Just wanted to give you my full experience. Hope this helps.

That second link should be a sticky, i had a hard time finding that thread.
🫣 It is! Right at the top of "Wheels & Tires".

Thanks. I guess they don't make them in bronze anymore.
You could try calling. Might be out of stock for a while. They get made every now and then in batches.

Be careful when asking for the best :) Some people are running $10k plus setups and others running setups that cost much less and both would consider theirs the best.
