New threads asking these questions should be flagged and deleted and the OP should be redirected to the search function.
No, because these things change overtime.

I can't see 40rwhp from a tune on 93 on a close-to-stock car. Maybe 20.

A vendor on 7G advertised a 30hp gain from headers + K&N intakes for $3,500. I mentioned that that was a little expensive...

I found my post was soon deleted and the thread was closed....

Now how much do we spend on lets say averagw 40 whp? 1500$ long tubes catless, choice of catback 2000$ on average, intake 300$, tune and device 1000$, we look at 5k$ for 40 whp, its not wildly great. Truth is, modern na cars do very well from factory, the old times of exhaust and tuning giving 100 whp are over.
5k ? Interesting. I'm a frugal shopper. Under 2k w/ stoopid basic bolt-on's :

~ Gen3 intake manifold 200 (used)
~PMAS CAI 200 (used)
~CAT delete 100 (DYI)
~Borla X-pipe 100 (used)
~ SLP Mufflers 300 (new)
~FP 3.73 Gears 300 (new)
~ DS custom tune & T2 device 700 (new)

^ This got me mid-high 11's in street trim.
Dunno how much horsepower that equates to considering magazines had the stock 15-17s
running very high 12s-very low 13s.

Recently added PMAS FenderWell Kit 200 (new)
So I guess 2100 now. Not even halfway to the basic ESS kit.

Did you ever run your car at the track, bone stock? If so how many MPH more are you trapping now?

I don’t understand the people harping on OP for not using the search function. Telling people to not post on a forum is a great way to kill a forum.
I’d say a tune on a stock car is worth it if you have an auto. Just transmission tuning from someone who knows what they’re doing is worthwhile.

No, because these things change overtime.
No, they really don't. Nothing has changed about these cars since they were released in 2015. Tuning wise gen 2 and 3 are very similar and simple things like which tuner is "best" can easily be searched since it is a weekly question. Not that hard to search a little.

Thats basically ignoring this entire forum then. LOL. Everything is repeated over and over again. Its almost insanity.
“Dont repeat”
So never ask a question on any car older than 3 years old? Half the info on any forum is blatant garbage. Always ask questions

Your build is half used, half going the cheap route. By this logic, get a used ess g2 kit, itl go for 3-4k

In 2015 Bama was still considered a decent tune. Where should we draw the line? 1 year after a car is released? Guess 2015 cars can't be tuned by Wengerd or have an ESS supercharger because pistol91 says they aren't allowed to ask questions anymore

By the way, what are we supposed to search for since nobody is allowed to post? hell what am I supposed to do with my 69 Firebird it doesn't even have any forums from the 60s, I only have these dumbass modern guys to talk to

The fact is this question is asked every week, multiple times a week sometimes. Should be pretty easy to do a google search or search on the forum. Its literally answered by the same 7 people, every time. Would make sense to me to get rid of the clutter.

It's not 2015 anymore, its 2024, nearly 2025. It's been asked and answered hundreds or even thousands of times. If you knew what searching was, you could search the most relevant date. Not something from 2015. It's a pretty easy concept.

How can we search for a modern post if nobody is allowed to ask the question?

Yes it is easy to search, I do the same before asking a question on any forum. Here’s the thing though, even simple questions like this help keep this forum alive. If you run off every newcomer because god forbid they didn’t search, this forum will end up like the other mustang forums (dead) sooner rather than later.
Gatekeeping doesn’t do us any favors.

You are right although a lot of people make accounts to post 1 thread, ask away, get their answer, leave and never come back. There are some exceptions, but for the 1 posters, it doesn't do anything but create conversations like this for the same people that roam the forums anyway. Then you have people calling other people morons because of their opinion. LOL
