Do some of the offerings not support the backup camera?

this was a total myth that any shifter affected the backup camera. One of the best reasons to get an MGW is it gets rid of that trashy feeling pull up reverse collar that likes to break on people

Does your shifter alter the "width" of the shift gate like the MGW does?
Not a fan of that. Shorter for aft = good, narrower side-side not so much.

No it does not. It keeps the gates tight and close like the factory.

I've got the first gen Barton. I'm happy with it. Keeps the reverse lockout as well.
