Hello,

Figured this was an acceptable place to post this since it is technically related to the transmission stuff.

I am looking to get a new knob and was curious what suggestions some members may have. I have the stock shift knob and looking for something that looks better and feels nice. Pictures would be greatly appreciated.

So many possibilities. Depends on your preference for size, weight, material, color, etc., etc. Here are a couple of good sites to start things off, and I'm sure you'll get lots of other suggestions.

I would suggest you try a weighted shift knob. I am using a raceseng knob currently. Only downside is that it is cold in the winter time here where I live because it is made from aluminum. Great solid feel to shifts and feels smoother after the install.

Thank you for the suggestions. I just placed and order for a Raceseng Ashiko in Red Translucent with a Red Reverse Lockout. I will update the thread with some pictures once it arrives and I install it.

I love the Ashiko. Nice choice! Raceseng makes a solid product. We have a Contour in my wife’s car as well.

Agree with the comment above. The only thing I don’t like is how much the knob reacts to temperature. They’ll give you a nice little cover. Definitely use it in the summer/direct sunlight!

Looks great! Comes on Monday, looks like I will be in for a treat when I get in the car during the day. Live in FL so the heat will be rough.

Can we see a pic installed? I got a gloss red but wonder if I should have gotten translucent.
