I have a 2016 Mustang and have been using a Motorola Sound MA1. I got it in December of 2023. It died within less than a year. They sent a replacement unit. It worked great again and just died. I was wondering what the best way to get Wireless Android Auto was today. I did replace the USB port in my center console to the latest version so that it works with Android Auto and Apple Car Play. I can plug my phone in but I just love the convenience of getting in the car and it automatically connecting with Android Auto. If anyone has any recommendations that would be greatly appreciated.

I also had the MA1 and it died in less than 6 months.

I just went on the AndroidAuto Reddit and it seems most people are recommending either the AAWireless or the AAWireless Two. The Two has slightly better reviews on Amazon. I am going to see what others recommend but I am leaning towards trying the AAWireless Two and see how that goes. I can always return it and try the original if there are issues.

I've been using the Ottocast A2Air with no issues for years

I've been using the Carlinkit adapter. You can use it for wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple Carplay, or as a standalone device if you have wifi in your car or use your phone as a mobile hotshot whichever is convenient for you.

I personally use mine as a standalone and absolutely love it. I can watch Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Max, YouTube, and everything else that you can do and watch on your phone.
