I had a drone and way too loud for me! Sold after three days on the car. OH by the way the person that bought them from me also took them off after a few days. I went to Ford Touring of which I'm happy with and he welded his stocks back on.
You seriously had drone with the Roush? They are known for having almost zero drone. I have the FRXpipe and the Roush axle backs and there is no drone at all... you sure that you're not confusing drone with WOT volume?

As I recall, this was the guy who took his off because the neighbors complained about it being too loud - there was a thread about it late last fall.

I have zero drone with mine. Drone just seems to cut thru my head, so if there was any, they would be gone in a heartbeat. I love the sound, but have tinkered with the idea of the H pipe. If I ever do decide to go that route it will be the one Lethal makes. I keep replaying the clip they made going hmmmmmmmm :D

Ah, well that sounds more like his exhaust was just loud, not droney. Neighbors don't complain about drone, because that's something that only exists inside the cabin and only when cruising. The Roushes in particular are well known for not having much if any drone, even when replacing the stock resonator with an Hpipe or Xpipe. In comparison to the truck I used to drive that had a Flowmaster 40 series, the Mustang GT with the Roush+Xpipe that I drive now has almost no sound while cruising. WOT it is scary loud, like a wailing banshee... but barely more sound that stock while cruising. Definitely no drone.

Maybe Hpipe is more droney than Xpipe?
