@RAVAGE88 have you reinstalled your timing cover yet? I was just curious as to whether you added -AN fittings for oil feed/drain for your future power adder (SC or turbo)? I’ve been scrounging for pics and found this one.

Yep, it's back on but I'm going out there right now to see what's up with that.

Those are -10AN drain fittings, but MMR makes a fitting that allows you to relocate the oil pressure sensor to it and have an open port for an oil feed. That’s what I’m gonna do.

Interesting. I’m gonna look at that, and try really hard to not take it apart until I’m ready for boost.

I think one of my biggest challenges is going to be finding the perfect spot for the oil drain. I have plenty of time to figure it out though.
Let me know what you come up with. I‘ll dig around on mine tomorrow since everything is so accessible and see what might work. Will your turbo be mounted exactly like the pic you sent?

Right on! This will be the exact setup here. I also found a pic which shows what the hot side looks like mounted up.

During research, I found info. that says there shouldn’t be any loops or anything in the drain line that causes oil to flow uphill, so basically a strait or downhill path to the drain fitting.

Man, that thing is crammed in there. When I was building Cummins V12-1710s and the inline sixes, the turbo drains were always the shortest route and directly below the turbos. Looks to me that plumbing into the front cover (weld on bung) or the return side of the filter (maybe one of the options from MMR) would be the shortest, most direct route.

I didn't have a lot of time today, but I was able to get more done on the baffling. This isn't the finished version, but one should get the idea here. I used some material from the piece I removed from the passenger side of the radiator to fill in openings on the "scoop," so I only pull air from in front of the grille. There are lots of "leaks" into the intake air, which is part of the higher IATs we see on NA cars.

Quite a bit more to do here and then focus on sealing off the CAI box.

Happy Thanksgiving, Fellas....I received tracking info for the IM, TB, Adapter, and RTR Grille's; everything arrives between Friday and Saturday, this week! Also, I have more material in-hand to complete the baffling. Will post vid of the fire-up asap.

And of course, @NGOT8R is the little red guy sitting on my shoulder with tempting words to order more red parts from MMR....I'm resisting, but weakening by the minute.

Don’t let those Black Friday deals pass you by, lol. The little red guy was on my shoulder yesterday and I told him to go forth and spread the love, lol.

Now that I'm running the PMAS fenderwell setup, I'm going to totally block off that area.
I feel that the addition of a GT500 style center hood vent should be more than enough to evacuate the hot air.

Exactly. For the time being, I'm going to install the RTR Hood Vents and later on go to a different hood. I believe the baffling to control the airflow is a pretty major step.

Have you found a source for the foil back fiberglass?
