Ethyl, yes…. Fred is a curmudgeon. Number 4 and Ethyl are the prized team though… and their cousin, short stack!
Hoosier would beg to differ.

Thanks, Dude. This was an ambitious project for sure and been in the planning stages for quite a while. My nephew and I have spent every weekend for the last four weeks knocking all this out. Nothing terribly difficult, mostly nuts and bolts, but diving into the timing requires focus. Not hard to mis-time by half a link.

Right. Check, recheck, then check again. Once it's perfect, check it yet again.
Exactly!! I think I mentioned over in your thread that the most important tool of any I used is the Ford Shop Manual on CD-ROM.

I have that ... came with a bunch of stuff I bought on the cheap.
Nice, then you're all set to dig into that front cover. Have you updated OPGs and the CS Timing Gear yet?

No. I'm a believer in "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" ha-ha.

I thought the front crash bars were aluminum ?
I thought so too, but they're steel. I'll be brushing that out and hitting it with some primer.

@RAVAGE88 have you reinstalled your timing cover yet? I was just curious as to whether you added -AN fittings for oil feed/drain for your future power adder (SC or turbo)? I’ve been scrounging for pics and found this one.
